The NY Sun reports that large wholesalers such as Costco and Sam's Club are limiting purchases of rice, flour, and oil as prices soar and quantities vanish. The news of food riots in third world nations is common, but news of these shortages reaching the USA would be enough to set off a wave of consumer panic.
