Fortress goes to Hollywood with $300m

Wall Street has given Hollywood film financing a wide berth since the onset of the credit crunch but Fortress Investment, one of the largest publicly traded alternative investment funds, is bucking the trend to the tune of $300m.

The former North Carolina senator, who was the Democratic vice presidential nominee in 2004, confessed to ABC News that he had lied repeatedly about the affair with 42-year-old Rielle Hunter. Hunter's daughter, Frances Quinn Hunter, was born on Feb. 27 this year, and no father's name is given on the birth certificate filed in California.

Wednesday night 36 passengers on a Greyhound bus were traveling peacefully from Edmonton, Alberta to Winnipeg, Manitoba. No one on the bus were prepared for the horror they were about to witness. Passengers that witnessed the murder said that the two men were sitting in the back of the bus and the victim appeared to either be sleeping or listening to music through his headphones.
